Why I Love Limcrime

I read something that got me peeved the other day: Doe Deere ended up on Failblog for one of her outfits (she is eccentric, can't expect the internet to not pick fun) and even though most of the comments were from her legions of fans, defending her, there were a few haters.

Now, haters gonna hate.
I know this.
BUT
Please just stick to hating irrationally, don't start talking about shit you don't understand. One of them was going on about how bad quality her eyeshadow is... total bullshit. I'm not sure how the retard tried to put it on, but if there's any semblance of normalcy in your applying of it, it's fucking a-one.

I wore it out the other night to a Retro Night, I decided to do a rainbow:

Then I proceeded to dance my ass off and sweat like a little piggy in amongst other drunk, dancing piggies. When I got home, I snuggled into my bed (which, when drunk, involves mostly a faceplant into my pillow) without taking off my make up.

I woke up to it looking like this. Pretty fucking decent! I sweat/rubbed off my mac eyeliner (which is a hard feat) and my Limecrime still looked that amazing?
Eat it, naysayers.

You're Just Jealous 'Cuz We're Young And In Love

Some sweetheart left this outside my door for me this morning

Homemade Valentine with Sailor Jerry flash? Wonderful. Only thing better was the envelope - made out of Colt 45 labels.

Summer Trip to Europe!!!

I just down a deposit for what looks like an AMAZING summer course that Dalhousie offers. We'll be going to the town of Český Krumlov, which is a UNESCO Heritage Site in the Czech Republic. It has a castle. No big. And inside the castle there's a preserved and functioning Baroque Theatre. Holy crap, it's going to be amazing. We'll even be there during a Baroque theatre conference AND festival. I can't imagine how great it's going to be... but Google Maps helped me! The street view caught the town on a beautiful sunny day, and the the river sparkles beside the twisty little cobblestone streets: I'm not sure if my camera is going to be able to handle this trip, ahah.

I want to stand on this spot when I visit.

The Castle, from the town's website
Not to mention, the website includes a bunch of legends associated with the castle we'll be staying in. I think this is my favorite:
With the Masquerade Hall, a story is told about a servant who, during the whirl of the ball,
spotted a string of pearls slipping off a beautiful lady\'s neck without her noticing it.
He wanted to keep the necklace. His malicious intent was foiled by the figures of grenadiers
painted on the wall which stepped out of the wall and prevented him from completing his immoral deed.
The frightened servant gave the necklace back to the lady and from then on was an honest man.

I've been around Europe, but never to the Czech Republic, which just makes this more exciting!

Holy Hanna

It's been a while! I think these past few weeks have been some of my most computer-free in ages. I love my laptop and, especially in the winter, I do spend a lot of time on it... which I'm back in the habit of now, hahaha. It was only a minor lapse from my addiction.

Due to this addiction, sometimes I get the feeling that I'm running out of internet. When this happens, I have go-to sites to wander through. My current favorite is weheartit. I found these two wonderful, colourful photos on it last night.

I had completely forgotten about Polly Pockets!! I miss them now, with their cheerful pastel colours and gadget filled houses. I hear they're not as tiny anymore due to choking concerns... pssshhhh. Kids these days.
As for the other, who doesn't love sour gummy worms?
